If you have spent any time in the Town of Little Elm, you can see that it is growing! Little Elm is growing in population, in business and retail opportunities, and in development. More community parks and recreation features have been added, new businesses are opening, and more homes are being built. Everywhere you go there is growth and development! 

As the Town of Little Elm grows, it is critical to recognize the importance of developing leadership skills among our citizens in order to establish a group of well-informed, motivated individuals prepared to assume leadership positions throughout the community. 

The Town of Little Elm will benefit by having a ready resource of committed individuals that understand not only how our community operates today, but also provides the knowledge of the Town’s future plans. Local businesses will also benefit from this program as their employees will cultivate better leadership and communication skills. 

Through a series of all-day sessions conducted once per month from September through May, Leadership Little Elm class members will participate in leadership development activities and community programs focusing on current civic and community issues. Subject areas include city government, economic development, transportation, community services, education, and other relevant topics.
